Samir Manji, former founder and Chairman of Amica Mature Lifestyles, returned to us to help develop a brand and foundation for his newly formed private equity group specializing in real estate opportunities.
Naming from Nature
Through the creative process, we aligned on Sandpiper as a name which worked as a metaphor for the investment firm. The sandpiper is a west coast shorebird that has the ability to find the gem of a shellfish amongst the sand – a great analogy for how Samir and his team find the investment gem hidden in the land.
Building and Iconic Brand
We built a brand that reinforced the level of detail, knowledge and discovery inherent in investing. The logo mark captures the sense of strategy, management and risk-adjustments through the lens of a bird icon.
