Serving co-op housing associations across the province, our client Co-operative Housing Federation of British Columbia (CHF BC), approached us to design and implement a communication strategy to more fully engage their members and partners.
The Desire for Community is Universal
Understanding the various stakeholder interests in a co-op network, from members to government agencies and land developers, led us to craft a strategy that drew on people’s innate desire for community. It also gave us insights into CHF BC’s role as the linchpin for connecting all the different perspectives.
We summarized the strategy with the tag line, “A Stronger Place for Community” to emphasize the importance of a physical space for fostering strong social connections.
We translated the brand strategy into a new design and cohesive visual communication.
We also created an intuitive brand-aligned website to increase awareness, education and a sense of community amongst members and partners.
