Naked Grape was created to compete with the hottest wines on the market. We relished the opportunity to go head-to-head with the dominant brands, many of which featured predictable animal “critters” in their logos and labels.
We decided to set the brand apart and focus on the un-oaked line-up as inspiration for key parts of the brand’s positioning and identity. The magic of the Naked Grape name paired with a simple, single grape illustration was a massive success.
